In the program settings tab, select DOOM from the list (If it is not in the list already, add it manually. To correct the launch issues, simply open nvida control panel. Also, by default the integrated graphics card is selected to run the application. There is a bug where nvidia experience does not recognize the game for loading an optimization profile (even in the current latest driver). I have a high end Lenovo laptop with a dedicated nvidia card along with an integrated intel card. I would try to launch from steam and the program would try to load but immediately close out without any error or warning. If you are like me, you may have had issues even launching the game.
